ora founder serese selanders selected to attend fierce founders bootcamp

Congratulations Serese Selanders, founder of ORA, on being selected to attend the Communitech Fierce Founders bootcamp in Waterloo, Ontario.

Fierce Founders helps early-stage founders develop business models, collaborate with mentors, and learn to pitch. The two-part bootcamp prepares participants for Pitch Day on February 15, where they compete to win up to $100,000.

Selanders was one of 25 women entrepreneurs across Canada selected to participate.

ORA offers products equipped with discreetly hidden alert buttons, giving users the ability to notify contacts when help is needed. Since ORA pairs with a smartphone, users are protected wherever there is cell phone coverage,

The company is located at Co.Labs, Saskatchewan's first technology incubator, at Innovation Place in Saskatoon. Led by Executive Director Jordan Dutchak, Co.Labs provides early-stage technology startups and entrepreneurs with support and mentorship that help foster company growth and success.
