Innovation Saskatchewan Launches the Innovation Challenge Program

The following news release was issued by Innovation Saskatchewan.

The Innovation Challenge program harnesses the ideas and expertise of Saskatchewan’s innovative entrepreneurs, together with government, to rapidly solve public sector challenges.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Innovation Saskatchewan is seeking technology solutions to the following challenge:

“How can technology be used to monitor the amount of solid waste generated and disposed of in the province?”

Innovators are invited to submit their proposed solutions to Innovation Saskatchewan for consideration by Wednesday, February 13.

Innovation Challenge winners will receive funding of up to $10,000 and a 16-week residency to develop their solution in collaboration with Government.

Last year's Innovation Challenge was won by Innovation Place tenants Rivercity Technologies Services and Brand X Technologies. For details read the December 2017 scene feature.
