Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this position will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinating the planning and delivery of tenant improvement projects in Saskatoon, including sub-contractors and vendors as well as procurement documents such as tender packages, requests for proposals and quotes
- Monitoring project productivity, quality, costs and schedule
- Maintain safe work environments on construction sites and providing site supervision, control and review
What We Want from You
- Five or more years of experience coordinating sub-contractors and vendors on multiple, simultaneous commercial construction projects of varying scope
- Technical knowledge of commercial construction activities and contractor / sub-contractor responsibilities
- Experience in construction estimating and demonstrated skill at cost and schedule management
- Ability to accurately assess risks on site that jeopardize project success and present clear and thorough solution options to the Project Manager for resolution
- Working knowledge of various codes, standards, regulations and good management practices relating to construction methods and materials
- Exacting standards while maintaining focus on the overall objectives
- Compliance with, and advocacy for, regulatory and corporate health and safety programs, including demonstration of safe work practices at all times
- A commitment to working as a team to provide exceptional client service
- Skill in developing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
