Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Property Administrator to join our Client Relations team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Client Relations, this position will be responsible for the following:
- Administering leases — account collection, rent roll invoicing and reporting
- Preparing the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, year-end occupancy cost recoveries and annual estimates
- Administering the parking portfolio, acting as the central information resource and handling data management, billing, etc.
- Updating the electronic file structure and implementing digital filing to build an electronic library for use by staff and auditors
What We Want from You
- Skill in developing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to set priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- A high level of initiative and the ability take personal ownership
- General understanding of basic property management practices and accounting principles
- Familiarity with lease terminology and/or contract administration
- A strong aptitude for working with numbers, reconciling accounts and reporting on variances
- Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to mediate and negotiate
- Computer literacy and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, commerce or accounting and at least three years of related experience
