Tell us about Praxis Consulting!

We provide consulting services in the areas of corporate strategy and market research. We are a full-service management consulting firm working with organizations to determine key opportunities and challenges based on primary data gathering and then crafting strategy to ensure a sustainable response to the ever-changing business environment. We work with our clients to assist in strategy execution and measuring results.

What is your company’s proudest achievement?

We have realized so many great successes over our 21 years in business. Most recently we have developed an online research panel that allows us to gather opinion data from First Nations, Metis and Inuit people across Canada!

How has Praxis Consulting adapted during the pandemic?

Our switch to “work-from-home” was relatively seamless. Because we are knowledge workers, it is relatively easy to work from wherever we think best. We implemented a daily virtual scrum early in the pandemic to ensure our team is connected and everyone is doing okay in our new found social isolation.

What’s one thing your company cannot function without?

Our clients. We are so grateful for long-term relationships with key clients. It is these relationships that have pulled us through the pandemic. We like to think we have helped them as well!

Why do you love working in Saskatchewan?

The breadth of work we can do in Saskatchewan is vast. We work with government, crowns, non-profits, institutions, private sector companies, Indigenous companies and governments, and charities. Our work is always interesting and challenging.

What does the future of Saskatchewan tech look like to you?

The tech future in Saskatchewan is very bright. We are creating clusters that are allowing for support and creativity across multiple realms. We are excited about the opportunity to provide research and strategy support to these burgeoning companies.

How does Innovation Place help you thrive in Saskatchewan’s tech sector? (We had to ask!)

For the tech cluster to thrive, we need multiple players driving toward some common goals. Innovation Place is one of those players in the tech ecosystem. We enjoy Innovation Place because it allows us to interact with other creative, forward-thinking organizations (pre- and post-COVID-19 of course!).

What’s the #1 piece of advice you give to people?

Do your best to make informed decisions but you will never have all the information you need; at some point, you just need to believe in your own instincts.
