Innovation Saskatchewan is responsible for implementing the province’s innovation priorities and helping grow Saskatchewan’s tech sector. Effective April 2022, this includes operation of the Innovation Place technology parks in Saskatoon and Regina.

AGF and SAIF Applications due April 30

The deadline to submit applications for the Agtech Growth Fund (AGF) and the Saskatchewan Advantage Innovation Fund (SAIF) is fast approaching on April 30, 2021.

AGF is a research and development (R&D) funding program designed to accelerate the commercialization of game-changing technological innovations in the province’s agricultural sector.

AGF accepts applications for a variety of R&D projects, including, digital ag software/hardware, smart farm equipment, indoor agriculture, agricultural marketplace/fintech and more. For more information and to apply, visit here.

SAIF is an R&D funding program designed to accelerate commercialization of game-changing technological innovations in the province’s core sectors.

SAIF accepts applications for R&D projects related to mining, energy, manufacturing, education and health care. For more information and to apply, visit here.

AGF and SAIF are administered by Innovation Saskatchewan, a tenant at Innovation Place in Saskatoon.
