Innovation Saskatchewan is responsible for implementing the province’s innovation priorities and helping grow Saskatchewan’s tech sector. Effective April 2022, this includes operation of the Innovation Place technology parks in Saskatoon and Regina.

Updates & Resources for Innovation Place Tenants

The health and safety of our tenants, staff and guests is our top priority. We continue to provide a safe environment for our tenants and staff with our current protocols in line with the provincial government.


Innovation Place Updates

FYI. Proof of vaccination is not required to access our Fitness Centres and attend our events as of February 28.

FYI. Indoor masking requirements in indoor spaces, including common areas within Innovation Place buildings, is no longer required as of February 28.

  • Fitness centres, meeting rooms, washrooms, squash courts and the games room (Saskatoon only) are open to full capacity.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers remain in various common areas for your use.
  • Innovation Place reception areas (Regina Administration Office, Saskatoon Administration Office and Saskatoon Maintenance Office) are open to the public and will continue to be closed between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm.
  • Janitorial staff will continue to provide frequent, ongoing sanitation of touch surfaces in our buildings.
  • We no longer need to be notified of presumptive or confirmed positive cases of COVID-19; we can make arrangements for extra sanitization at a fee-for-service if you wish for us to do so upon request.

  • Managing Staffing and Leave resources, including webinars on the newly introduced Public Health Emergency Leave and Public Emergency Layoffs
  • Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan and Guidelines for Businesses, including phases, restrictions and guidelines for specific industries
  • Accelerated Site Closure Program (ASCP) will utilize $400 million in federal funding for the abandonment and reclamation of inactive oil and gas wells and facilities, and support over 2,100 full-time equivalent jobs in the industry over the next 2 years.
